I received an update from Chris Broyles’s this morning. Don is requesting our continued prayers.
Good afternoon. I hope that all is well.
We have a bit of news on Don’s situation. In addition to his pneumonia, UTI and sepsis, there is also an infection in the bone of the heel where he has been fighting a wound.
He is still waiting to speak with a trauma surgeon. Once we have a few of our questions answered, Don will be scheduled for a leg amputation just below the knee. This is of course not the news that we were hoping for, but the best course of action at this point. With all of the issues that Don has had, this situation morphed into the perfect storm leading him to this point.
When I find out anything more concerning his surgery date I will pass it along. Don has also requested prayer from his brother Knights and is greatly appreciative to them for all prayers said on his behalf.

Prayer to Jesus for Healing
Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal Don.
Touch his soul with Your compassion for others; touch his heart with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch his mind with Your Wisdom, and may his mouth always proclaim Your praise. Guide him to reach out to You in all his needs.
Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring him health in body and spirit, so he may serve You with all his strength.Touch gently this life which you have created, now and forever.
