Passing of Jack Cosby

Brother Knights,

It is with a sad heart that I must inform you that our Brother Jack Cosby has passed.  For those who do not know Jack, he was one of the founding members of Trinity Council.   Jack always had a story and made the best pecan pie (and Mike Weigand can attest to this).  As soon as I receive information about Jack's funeral, I will pass it along.  Please keep Jack and his family in your prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him.  May almighty God bless Jack's family with peace and strength. Thank Lord for the time you graciously allowed for us to spend with Jack.
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen

YBiC,

Gary

A Prayer for Healing for Jack Cosby

Dear brothers,

I’m writing in regards to a brother who needs our prayers.  I have been informed that Jack Cosby is home from the hospital and we need to lift him up in prayer.

Heavenly Father, our friend, Jack Cosby who is ill, we pray that You will comfort and ease his suffering.  We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard if it be your will.  We therefore pray that You bless our brother with Your loving care, renew his strength, and heal what ails him.  We ask this in Your loving name, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Upcoming Council events

Brothers,

April 22, we will be hosting a game night at the parish hall as our fellowship activity for the church.  BINGO is the name of the game we will be running.  William Arehart is our game coordinator and Jerry Nehl will be supplying the food.  If you can purchase a small gift to be used as a prize, this would be greatly appreciated.  The start time for the event will be 6:15.

PCCW Rummage Sale will begin Thursday, May 4 and run through Saturday, May 6.     Set up for the rummage sale will be April 30th right after the pot luck dinner.   May 1 and 2 will be sorting and May 3 is open for the parish.    On May 6, we were asked to help clean up beginning at noon.

Knights have coffee and snacks for the month of April.

Please pray for Bob Schultheis for a quick and full recovery from surgery.
Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed. (Matthew 8:8)

Thank you brothers and I look forward to representing our council at the state convention.  Take care and have a blessed week.

YBiC,

Gary

Adoration Holy Thursday

Brothers,

Here is the updated schedule for tonight's Adoration.  Even though the slots have been filled, you are most welcome to come and pray.

A brief history about Trinity Knights attending Holy Thursday Adoration.  I have been told, in the years that I have attended Holy Trinity, the Knights have always spent Holy Thursday evening with our Lord Jesus Christ.(Somewhat like guardians)  We have had Knights stay for an hour to 5 hours.  Please, spend as much time with our Lord.
