Prayer Request Tim Casey Family

Brothers, I was messaged earlier and was informed that Tim Casey's brother passed away this past week. Tim's brother's name is Jim Casey, please join me in praying for the repose of his soul. Tim and Debbie will be going to Minnesota this week, please pray for safe travels. Tim lost his sister this past November and now his brother please pray for comfort and peace for the whole family during this time.

Lord,
Jim Casey is gone now from this earthly dwelling,
and has left behind those who mourn his absence.
Grant that his family may hold his memory dear,
never bitter for what they have lost
nor in regret for the past,
but always in hope of the eternal Kingdom
where you will bring them together again.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Council July Meeting

Brothers, these are the Minutes of the last meeting. Please look them over, when we have our short meeting Tuesday we will forgo the reading of the minutes so please read them before the meeting. I want the meeting to be very short so we can have a great time after the Installation. I know that the Slate of Officers in the Minutes is not complete, I will be seeking a motion to correct that before we approve the Minutes.

Thank you, brothers, for all you do.

Coffee and snacks after 10:30 Mass

Brothers this month it is the Knights responsibility to serve coffee and snacks after 10:30 Mass. If there is a specific weekend that you can help fill this need, please let me know. There are only a couple of guys that typically help with this and it would be great if we could get a fem more. This is also a great time to visit with our parish family.

healing prayers for John Tieskotter's Brother in LAW

Brothers, I received a text from John today about his brother-in-law, Dan Gardner, Who has been battling cancer. Dan's cancer is now in his spine and lungs. Rochester is sending him home to spend time with his grandkids. Brothers please pray for Dan and the whole family.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK AND THE DYING

Father of Love and Mercy, You miraculously cured Saint Peregrine of an advanced cancer of his foot when the power of man could do more. You favored him with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal his affliction.

Hear the prayers we offer, through the intercession of Saint Peregrine, for the cure of the sick and dying whom we entrusted to You.

Pause here and silently recall the names of those for whom you are praying.

May all who suffer pain, illness, or disease know that You are with them even in the depths of despair. Enable them to see Your plan and bring them closer to Your Son who accepted our suffering to teach us the virtues of meekness and patience as we carry our crosses through life.

Brothers, this Friday, July 3 we are working the Dishman Building  from 4pm to 10pm at the Webster County Fair. We will need several members to help work it, I know a few of you are willing to work at the beginning of the evening but we still need men to cover the end of the night. Prayers

Brothers I recieved the email below from Tim today.

"I am asking prayers for my brother who has recently been moved to Comfort Care which is the last stage of hospice."

Brothers let us lift up our prayers up to the Lord for Tim's brother and thier whole family.

Father, your Son accepted our sufferings
to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness.
Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realise that they have been chosen to be saints and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Prayers

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Angela has 2 sisters in Springfield. Karilyn is the one that has organ failure and will need to be in a care facility. Adele, her twin sister is the one that had multiple cancer surgeries and has a daughter that has Angelmans syndrome. She needs prayers for a home health care provider.

Russell Rouse

Brothers, our brother Russell Rouse had his hip surgery yesterday. John Tieskotter messaged me to let me know that he was out of surgery and had a weird feeling moving his feet afterward.  All of us who have talked to Russell in the past year know how much pain he has been in, please pray for a speedy and complete recovery.

Heavenly Father, Divine Physician of our souls and bodies,
I thank You that this surgery is safely past. I place Russell Rouse completely into Your loving care during this time of recovery. Please lay Your healing hands upon him, relieve his pain, and grant him patience and strength as his body mends.
Lord Jesus, look with compassion on this Brother Knight, who has dedicated his life to the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. Grant that the restorative power of Your Spirit may flow through him, removing all anxiety and replacing it with Your peace.
We humbly ask for the powerful intercession of Blessed Michael McGivney. Under his protection, may the love and healing power of our Heavenly Father be with Brother Russell and restore him swiftly to good health and his community.
We offer this prayer for his complete physical, mental, and spiritual restoration, for the greater glory of God.
Amen.

Prayers needed

Brothers I received word of a couple of people that need our prayers.
First our brother, Mike Traiteur, told me his grandson had surgery the other day and looked to be doing well but then ended up back in the hospital with an infection and fever. He is showing improvement but still needs our prayers. Mike's grandson is going into 4 grade, the same as my youngest daughter.

Howard messaged me today and asked with all the successful prayers that we have had for his parents and himself, could we please "lift and shift them" to pray for Angela Arterberry and her sister. Her sister has multiple forms of cancer and she is so weak that she's going to need to move to a nursing home. She has a daughter in her thirties that is severely mentally disabled as well.

Brothers, when we unit in prayer it is powerful.

Immaculate Mother of God, Our Lady of Lourdes, you chose to appear in a desolate grotto to a simple child. We come to you with boundless confidence to implore your intercession. Look upon us with your merciful eyes, especially upon those who are ill. Obtain for them the healing and relief that we seek, and above all, grant us the strength to accept God’s perfect will. Amen.
