Stations of the Cross tonight
Brothers, we are to lead the Stations of the Cross tonight at Holy Trinity if our Knights in Conway can lead there to that would be awesome. I would like to have a few Knights that are willing to lead, take turns doing so. Mike had to go out of town on business this week so he will not be there and I am fighting a sinus infection. I will be, but with fighting this off I want to keep my distance just to be safe. I would still like for many of the Knights to go to soup and support the PCCW. They are really good to us between support at the fish fries, the funeral dinners, and any other event that there is, they are always involved with making them a success.

Grand Knight Report:
- Brothers, our council, lost one of its founding members and one amazing individual, in Jerry Nehl. I
greatly appreciate everyone that helped with the visitation, funeral, and dinner. Thank you to
everyone that went and saw Jerry these last few months.
- Michelle Fritz received a thank you card from the Nehl family there was $100 in it which she donated
to our council. The Nehl family also gave $150 to the Knights as a thank you as well. Michelle asked
if we could dedicate the Hall kitchen to Jerry.
- I have asked St. Vincent DePaul if they want to do a pie auction at our third fish fry. No answer yet.
- We had the mid-year DD meeting; here are some high points.
o Bishop Rice wants every council to be involved with Eucharistic Congress. Including
helping with security such as watching the doors and helping people.
o Coats for kids – the chapter handed out 5292 new coats this year, that is about $57,000 worth
of coats. They need business sponsors also looking for people to help and eventually take it
over. We should collect used coats all year long and call them when we have a good amount.

Coats for kids, sponsors for next year?

Passing of Jerry Nehl
Brother Knights, I have some sad news our brother, Jerry Nehl, has passed away and has gone home to be with the Lord.
Earlier today, I received word from Annie Nehl and Deacon Mike that Jerry’s time was near. I tried to get an email together while at work but could not. After I left work I went to Jerry and Annie's. While there Jerry passed away peacefully with Annie by his side. Although we knew this day was approaching, it still feels far too soon.
Jerry was an amazing man and a true example of what it means to be a Knight, living a life dedicated to charity and faith. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Please join me in praying for the repose of Jerry's soul and for comfort and peace for Annie and their entire family during this difficult time. I will notify everyone once arrangements are made.
