Prayer Request

Brothers, my nephew Aaron Sand is in need of Prayers. He is the son of my sister Theresa and brother-in-law Sean, who is one of our council's founding members. Aaron is one of my nephews that lives in Alaska, with Battens Disease that I have added to the good of the order at our meetings. Last Thursday he underwent an operation to have a G-tube put in as a result of the progression of the Battens. He has been recovering at home when he got a fever bad enough that my sister took him to the ER last night. The doctors found that he has appendicitis and the surgeon had him admitted to the hospital and plans on taking the appendix out today.  Please pray for Aaron, the surgeon and the whole Sand family,

We praise you, oh Lord, with your healing power and your loving touch.  We thank you for your continual work in our hearts, minds, emotions, and physical bodies.  We ask you to touch Aaron and bring every cell, every system in his body into perfect alignment. We ask for complete healing in his body and full recovery with no adverse effects, no obstacles and no problems.  Please minimize pain and discomfort and maximize faith and hope. God, we ask and trust that you’ll surround him and provide the protection, peace, and patience needed for recovery and healing.

Lord, you have been called Almighty Healer and Master Physician, so please guide the hands of the surgeon and those of the medical staff. Help comfort and guide the Sand family as they enter the next step with Aaron on recovery.  I know that  all things are possible if it is Your will, Lord so I ask these things in your mighty name, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Prayer Request

Brother Knights, tonight was our last fish fry of 2023. Thank you to everyone that has helped out with those this year.

One of our brothers that always helps out where he can is in need of prayers tonight. John Tieskotter contacted me earlier today with the following text.

"I missed the last step yesterday going to the basement and sprained or tore a ligament in my right knee. I went to ER last night in Waterloo. No broken bones but they removed 1 1/2 tubes of liquid from knee. On crutches and pain killer. Carmelita daughter and husband Aaron taking us to Palmyra,MO on Sunday then Carmelitas sister Connie and Gary are bringing us home. I need prayers."

Dear Lord,

Please extend Your healing hand upon our dear friend, restoring their health and strength. May Your love surround them, comforting their spirit in this time of need. Guide the hearts and hands of those providing care so that Your wisdom is reflected in their work.

As their body heals, let their faith in You grow stronger, ever trusting in Your divine plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.

Prayer Request for John Tieskotter's sister

My sister had a pig valve put in for her aorta and at the moment it is doing what it is supposed to. Her myocardial has been working overtime to do what the aortic valve was supposed to do and is weak. The doctor hopes it heals itself with the aortic valve working now. Keep Rita Gullord in your prayers. Thank you in advance if you're praying for her.

I want to thank Chuck Adams, William Arehart, Mark Burchfield, Steve Ciulla, Roger Fleeman, Scott Routh and John Tieskotter for helping me remove several old bushes and install the new privacy fence at the church prayer garden. All totaled, it took about 95 hours of work. See the attached photos for the finished product.

Friday Fish Fry November 3rd

Brother Knights, we have a busy weekend ahead of us.

Friday we have our second fall fish fry, This one is to put money back into our account so we can continue to donate and help support the many good causes that we do. As this is our fish fry we need Knights to bring desserts to serve.  If you can come help please do, we will need an early crew at 2pm to help setup and get everything going and we will need people to help clean afterwards so whenever you can make it is fine. If you have junior high age kids that would want to help serve or set out desserts we could probably find jobs for them as well. Thank you to all that can come help.

The next thing we have is cutting firewood for the Moore family on Saturday starting between 8am and 9am. I hope all of you will try to make it out to help keep this family warm this winter. I have prior engagements that day so I am unable to help. Address is 217 Victory Lane, Niangua, Missouri. Nikki is going to provide chili, and a couple of soups for lunch.

Prayer Request Jose Clay

Brothers, I received this in an email today from Jose Clay. As many of you know he moved back to Florida to be with his family. They were worried about him and wanted him close by.

"Hi William. I requested a Mass for Virginia in what would have been her birthday next Saturday. I am sorry I am unable to be there but I will go to Mass at the local church here.
I have never requested that my brother Knights pray, but my great-grandbaby Rayah is 20 months old, and seriously ill in the hospital with a rare respiratory issue, and we would appreciate all the prayers we can send to the Blessed Mother of God for Rayah's total recovery.
Thank you to you William, and to all my brothers and sisters at Holy Trinity."

Mary, full of grace, spiritual mother to those in need, I fervently request your heavenly intercession for Rayah who is ill and seeks God’s miraculous assistance. You truly care for the sick and offer them your compassionate support in powerful acts of healing.

Stay near to Rayah with your maternal protection. Console our anxious hearts and grant that our physical and emotional sufferings be a source of purification and growth for eternal life. Amen.
