Brother Knights, it is with great joy that I get to congratulate and thank Gary Gray for leading our council to receiving the Star Council Award. During the last council meeting our Worthy District Deputy presented our council with the Star Council award.
I know none of us do what we do for awards or other recognition, but what this award means to me is that our council worked hard last year to spread the love and example of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We brought men into the Knights which means more men to help accomplish our works of Charity, and to grow with us in the Faith. There are certain activities the council has to do to make Star. Our council does many of these activities without a thought if it applies to Star Council. We just have to remember to turn in the forms so Supreme knows what we do. We also need members to participate in Fraternal Benefit Nights, while this has been a bit of a challenge in our council, the info is valuable and worth watching. With that being said we have a FBN on OCT. 24th at 7PM with chili being served in the hall for all who want to attend.
Gary you are a great leader and put yourself in all you do and it shows. I am honored to learn from you and to stand with you as a Knight. Congratulations on a job well done.
