Council Activities

Brothers tomorrow is the start of the Tootsie Roll Drive but we also have the Rosary on the square as well. Carrie Smith sent me the readings for the Rosary, I am attaching them to this email. John Tieskotter is bringing a podium and microphone for us to use. Everyone please come out,let Marshfield know us by our faith and let's pray this powerful prayer.

John Tieskotter is wanting to build a wheelchair ramp out in Elkland on Tuesday, 17th of October 2023. It will be a 5' x 5' deck with a 12' ramp. Address is 31 American Rd, Elkland, MO. He would like to start at 9am, the gentleman's name is Ellsworth Eisele. If anyone can help John please call or text him by Monday. John cannot build this on his own and Ellsworth needs to be able to get out of his home as he cannot at the moment. Thank you in advance to all that can and will help. I went over and helped Bob with the fence at Holy Trinity. Bob had the three corner post already set and was leveling out the concrete on the last one when I got there. We removed the two large bushes that were near the garden and I cut a stump that is where one of the posts is to go. If anyone has time I believe Bob plans on working on it again on Monday and Wednesday next week, and would appreciate any and all help. 

I Know our council is busy right now with so many projects and activities, I would like to say thank you to each and everyone of you for all you do for without everyone pitching in the good works that our council does cannot happen. 

I also received an update on Don Broyles yesterday, He has been Moved to Quail Creek on 1514 W Lark in Springfield. He is on the Cedars Wing, room 72-A. Don is nervous about beginning therapy without his weight bearing leg. He is experiencing some grogginess, they have said this may be due to a change in his pain meds. Other than that, Don is doing quite well. They said thank you all once again for all the prayers. Let's continue to pray for Don's recovery and peace of mind as he starts his therapy. 

For those who were unable to attend Tuesday's meeting please add Russell's brother, Leslie Rouse to your prayers as well as he is battling cancer right now.
