Brother Knights, our Council has been busy and will be staying that way for the next few weeks. As all of you know, we have a fish fry tonight. If you can be there around 2pm great, if you can come later and help clean, great, no matter what, come help. Also if you can bring a dessert, please do.
We also have Coats for Kids tomorrow 2pm - 4pm. Come early help setup I think at the last meeting we talked about setup at 1pm. Please if there is a man of the Catholic faith that you think would make a great Knight please invite him to help with Coats for Kids it is a great event and makes in impact on both the families that we are helping but also those that help,
This weekend we have our recruitment drive in both Conway and Marshfield. Please help out where you can, even if it is just stopping outside after Mass to let men who are not a Knight know what being a Knight means to you. Invite them to all of the activities that we have coming up, all our fish frys, Silver Rose Service this Sunday at 3pm in Springfield at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, wood cutting for the Moore family on Oct. 28th, also invite them to help serve in church with us as we have a 5th Sunday this month, also don't forget Knights are serving coffee and snacks after 10:30 Mass this month.
Thank you to all who helped with the Tootsie Roll Drive. I don't have numbers on how we did but when I do I will let everyone know. I know it was a lot of fun and people were happy to see us out helping those with disabilities. Those of you that wanted to help and slots filled up quickly don't worry next year we will need more help as we hope to be able to set up at Walmart once again. Thank you to anyone that took time out to help Bob with the fence for Holy Trinity or helped John build a wheelchair ramp for someone in need. Thank you to John and Bob for heading up these projects and for all you both do.
