VOLUME 39 │ NUMBER 16 │ APRIL 20, 2021
With more COVID-19 vaccinations being administered and pandemic restrictions being eased in many places, Knights are looking to help their councils and parishes emerge from the pandemic as strongly as possible.
The K of C COVID Recovery Program is designed to help Knights to do just that. Here is information on an upcoming webinar that will cover the program, plus details on other upcoming faith-based videos.
KnightCast Episode 3 Premieres Thursday, April 29, at 8 p.m. EDT
In this episode, we’ll explore:
• What evangelization is and how to embrace it. • How to keep your children Catholic. • Why Knights at the University of Notre Dame were inspired to consecrate themselves to St. Joseph.
The COVID Recovery Program helps councils resume fraternal operations and supports the recovery of their parishes to emerge strongly from the pandemic. Special Documentary Screening for Knights and Their Families
Knights and their families are invited to sign up for an exclusive screening of the Emmy Award-winning documentary Beauty of Their Dreams, which highlights the Marengoni Primary School in Uganda. This school, which serves children who are orphaned because of AIDS, was constructed in 2012 by the Apostles of Jesus with assistance from the Order.
The film is available to Knights and their families for free streaming from April 25 to May 2. If in-person events are allowed in your area, consider hosting a family movie night at your parish. If not, please share the information and links with your council and parishioners.
