Hello,

Brothers, please pray for my mother.  She is in ICU with breathing tube, her heart stopped for a while but luckily she works in hospital and they revived her.  At St Luke’s in KC.

Knights of Columbus book distribution on Christmas Eve and the Christmas morning Mass.

Hello Brothers,

Looking for a little assistance with our Knights of Columbus book distribution on Christmas Eve and the Christmas morning Mass.

Please email me as to which of the three Masses you plan on attending so I can create a simple schedule for each service.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Carmelita's 2nd cousin Gary, Brinkley, who was brought to Cox South from his home on Plank Road suffering a heart attack. Today the doctors told him he needs open heart surgery with 3 by passes. May the Good Lord carry and heal Gary as needed. Thank you in advance for any and all prayers!!!

Boat Parade and Breakfast with Santa !

Breakfast with Santa will be December 8th after 1030 Mass it would be great if we could have all the Knights there to help with the meal and to just have a good presence in the parish family. Thank you, John for asking I forgot to add it.

What about breakfast with Santa?

Brothers this is a 5th Sunday weekend, which means we typically take care of the Liturgical Ministries for Holy Trinity. Brother Knights I ask that you please help where you can. 

At our last Knights meeting we had planned on taking the float to the Conway Christmas Parade. After talking to Russell and some of our other Knights we feel that it is best to not do the Parade this year. We have not gotten it in shape and several of the Knights are not going to be able to attend. I am sorry for this and hopefully next time works out better. 

The morning of December 7th we are going to be cutting wood for the Moore family. I have talked to Nikki and she was thinking maybe starting like 7 to 8 and hopefully we can be done around noon like last year. Address is 217 Victory Lane, Niangua.

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to everyone that helped Jerry cook for the Thanksgiving meal at the workshop. Also a huge shoutout to Alton Smith and my son Leon for helping at the workshop, we could not have done it without them. Annie Nehl did amazing as well and thank you to Jerry Nehl  for the opportunity to be a part of something so good. 

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving. I am thankful to be surrounded by like minded men who do so much good for our community and faith. May the upcoming year be a great one.

Prayer Request

Brother Knights, one of our Brothers is in need of prayers for healing. Jeremy Arterberry was in the hospital due to heart issues. While he is not there now he will still need more care including open heart surgery at some point so the doctors can work on his Mitral Valve in the heart. 

Loving God,
I pray that you will comfort Jeremy in his suffering,
lend skill to the hands of his healers,
and bless the means used for his cure.
Give him such confidence in the power of your grace,
that even when afraid,
he may put his whole trust in you;
through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

                                   Knights of Columbus Assembly 3196 is again participating in a

program on Saturday, December 14th , that will lay a wreath on

deceased Veterans graves at Arlington National Cemetery and

2,100 other locations across the nation. You can join the

Knights and sponsor a wreath for $17.00 by donation directly to

K of C, Assembly 3196, sends checks to

$5.00 of the cost of each Wreath donation goes to the Military Seminarian Sponsorship Fund.

Wreaths will placed on Veterans Gravestones at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Leonard Wood on December 14th at 12:00 PM, a ceremony and placement of Wreaths Follows. This is a great patriotic exercise for everyone , especially our children. Please make plans to attend.
