October Meeting

Fellow Knights, this Tuesday at 7pm is our monthly meeting. There is no Adoration, Confessions, or Mass this week due to the Clergy Institute that Father Jobi and both Deacons will be attending. I look forward to seeing you there. 

There will also be a chance to win 75 dollars in the attendance prize. Those of you that don't know each meeting we each put one dollar into the attendance drawing, we then draw one name off of our roster. If the member is there they walk away with half the money. Right now there is $135 the box, if 15 people show up to the meeting the total will be at $150. If the person whose name is called is not at the meeting then no one gets it and we do it again at the next meeting.

Brothers this Tuesday is our monthly meeting. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there. 

I want to say thank you to everyone that helped with the fish fry and with tootsie rolls as well. 

We are in charge of coffee and snacks this month after 10:30 Mass. If you can, please lend a hand.

Weekend Volunteerism KOC 10844

Fish Fry this Friday, we will need all the help we can get. We are also responsible for desserts so make sure to bring one with you. 

We are also handing out tootsie rolls this weekend at the price cutter here in Marshfield and in Conway. If you signed up please make sure to show up at the time you signed up. There are still slots that need filled. I will need a Knight or two to help hand out tootsie rolls after the saturday and sunday Masses this weekend as well. 

Next Tuesday the 14th is our monthly meeting. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Update Jerry Nehl

Brothers I have an update on Jerry Nehl. Annie brought Jerry home on Monday afternoon. He is feeling much better as the fluid that was on his lungs is gone. He was catching up on rest when Annie messaged me. They are now learning how to navigate all things involved with heart failure. They are trying to settle into a new routine due to it. Please continue to pray for both of them, they greatly appreciate the prayers.

Prayers for Jerry Nehl, October 3rd,2025

Good Morning brothers, Annie Nehl messaged me last night. "Jerry is at Mercy Hospital Springfield. He is feeling better now, he is on 15 liters of oxygen and antibiotics. He will probably be there a couple more days."

Knights let us pray for healing and strength for our brother. 

  God Almighty, Heavenly Father, Physician of our souls and bodies, You, who sent Your only-begotten Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, to heal every sickness and infirmity, visit and heal also Your sick and distressed Knights and their beloved from all physical and spiritual ailments. Through the Grace of the Holy Spirit, grant these Knights and their beloved, patience in their sickness, strength of body and spirit, and recovery of health. Lord, You have taught us through Your Word to pray for each other that we may be healed.  We pray, heal your servants and grant to them the gift of complete health.  For You are the source of healing and to You we give glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen!

Tootsie Roll Drive October 11th-12th

Brothers, October 11th and 12th is the Tootsie Roll Drive. We will be set up at the Price Cutter in Marshfield 9-5 and Conway 9-4. Please see the lists below and pick an open spot. If you reply all to this message with the location date and time that you would like everyone will know what is taken and I will put your name down for that time. John Tieskotter will be leading the Conway distribution as Russell Rouse is unable to do it this year due to health reasons, please make sure to pray for Russell. It would be great if we could get some of our Conway brothers to help John.

Friday Fish Fry

Brother knights we have a fish fry coming up this Friday September 26. This is the fish fry for the Marshfield School Foundation. We will need all the help that we can get so come out and have a great time raising money for a good cause. please bring a dessert to serve when you come.

Dinner Volunteer

Brothers, as many of you know Jerry's health has been on the decline for some time now. He was able to attend the meeting last night and asked if there was anyone that would be interested in taking over the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the shelter work shop. No one at the meeting volunteered to take it over. 

Those of you that don't know what the work shop is, it is a factory type business that employs those with special needs to do packaging typy work. 

Are you the person to carry this on? Do you like helping those with special needs? Do you have the time to dedicate to this? If you answered yes to any of those questions I ask you to pray on this and discern if it is for you. If you believe this is something you would be interested in please contact me or Jerry Nehl and he can give you more info. 

 It is a lot of work, the meals serve roughly 100 people. It takes one full day of cooking and then the half a day at the work shop. I will tell you this is a very rewarding experience, everyone out there is so appreciative and thankful for this kind act. Thank you all for your consideration.

Sheltered workshops are amazing places with many wonderful people, it gives people with special needs a place to be productive and something to look forward to. Brothers, tomorrow is our monthly meeting at 7pm. Come for Adoration and Confession at 5pm and Mass at 6pm, then stay for the meeting. We are about to be very busy, there will be several opportunities to help in the next couple of months. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
