March for Life The March for Life — the world’s largest annual human rights demonstration — will be held Jan. 21 in Washington, D.C., and comes as a decision is awaited in the U.S. Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Knights and their families are also encouraged to participate in local marches and pro-life demonstrations in their own countries — including Canada’s National March for Life on May 22.

KnightCast Returns Jan. 4 In a new episode of KnightCast that will premiere Jan. 4, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly reflects on his Oct. 25 audience with Pope Francis. Host Jonathan Reyes also interviews the Order’s vice president of public policy, Tim Saccoccia, about Dobbs v. Supreme Chaplain’s Monthly Challenge For the month of January, Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William Lori challenges Knights to offer one decade of the rosary each day — individually or as a family — for the intention of life. Second, he challenges Knights to participate with their council in the Novena for Life, March for Life, and/or Pregnancy Center Support Faith in Action programs. Prayer Request

Hello Brother Knights, 

Please keep my Brother Daniel  in your daily prayers. He was taken to the hospital yesterday do to his heart beating fast. The doctors believe he has an  aortic root enlargement. He will get to talk to the cardiologist tomorrow to review this and the echo information. My family and I would appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

As 2021 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude with you. Through the generosity of so many members and donors, such as yourself, Knights of Columbus Charities continues to serve individuals and families throughout the world. Your continued witness of generosity is humbling! Over the past few weeks there were several inquiries asking if K of C Charities was raising funds for the recent tornadoes in Kentucky and the devastating typhoon that hit the Philippines on Dec. 16. Through the generosity of so many members earlier this year, K of C Charities was able to provide aid to both disasters as soon as it was requested. For this, thank you! I also recognize there were many members who were waiting to donate until communication went out. We will continue to support these communities as they rebuild, so our job is not yet done. If you were waiting to make a donation for disaster relief, we would be honored if you would consider making it now. Your gift will ensure the Knights of Columbus are ready to help wherever and whenever a disaster strikes next. Charity, Unity and Fraternidad When Blessed Michael McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882, many of its first members were — like Father McGivney — the children of immigrants, or immigrants themselves. Today, even as Catholic men around the world join the Order, a growing group within the Church shares a close similarity with those very first Knights: Hispanic Catholics in the United States. READ MORE
