Prayer Request

Hello Brother Knights, 

Please keep my Brother Daniel  in your daily prayers. He was taken to the hospital yesterday do to his heart beating fast. The doctors believe he has an  aortic root enlargement. He will get to talk to the cardiologist tomorrow to review this and the echo information. My family and I would appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

As 2021 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude with you. Through the generosity of so many members and donors, such as yourself, Knights of Columbus Charities continues to serve individuals and families throughout the world. Your continued witness of generosity is humbling! Over the past few weeks there were several inquiries asking if K of C Charities was raising funds for the recent tornadoes in Kentucky and the devastating typhoon that hit the Philippines on Dec. 16. Through the generosity of so many members earlier this year, K of C Charities was able to provide aid to both disasters as soon as it was requested. For this, thank you! I also recognize there were many members who were waiting to donate until communication went out. We will continue to support these communities as they rebuild, so our job is not yet done. If you were waiting to make a donation for disaster relief, we would be honored if you would consider making it now. Your gift will ensure the Knights of Columbus are ready to help wherever and whenever a disaster strikes next. Again, thank you for your generosity and commitment to charity as the first principle of the Order. To begin to understand what it means to be a Catholic in North America, one needs an appreciation for the many Indigenous communities throughout the continent who were practicing their faith centuries before the founding of the United States. The new K of C-produced documentary Enduring Faith: The Story of Native American Catholicism explores the rich contributions that Indigenous people have made to the Church across several centuries, while examining how Christ reveals himself through the uniqueness of every culture. Prayer Request

Brother Knights, would you please pray for Pete (Lloyd) Wellever's family. Mr. Wellever was a parishioner at Holy Trinity. Pete died in his sleep Tuesday evening. Please keep Evelyn, his wife,  in your prayers has the family will be planning for his funeral services. More details will follow through the parish communication. Thank you.

4th Degree Assembly Meeting

Sir Knights.

 Please consider joining together for our monthly 4th degree Assembly meeting on May 19th at the 698 K of C Hall located at 

2340 W. Grand St. Springfield,  MO. 

Our meeting will start at 7pm with the praying of the Rosary and the business meeting will follow at 7:30 pm. 

When we join in numbers we are stronger in everything we do and with the strength and guidance of the Holy Spirt we are unstoppable.

Special Prayer Request

Good evening brother Knights and families. Russell Rouse called tonight to ask all of us to pray for his best friend, his lovely wife Gina. 

Gina will be going to the doctor this Thursday and next Thursday to check on a few areas that the doctors seen on Gina's last visit and discuss their concerns of their findings. Right now there is no specific details but Gina and Russell could sure use the support of our prayers. 

"Lord Jesus, we pray for the courage and strength needed for our ill brothers and sisters to walk the road to recovery and to see the brighter days ahead so we together can enjoy the gifts you give us each and everyday, Amen. "
