Shoes for kids....

Brothers, during our last meeting we discussed and approved giving $200 to help with setting up a shoe closet out in Conway at Ezard Elementary School. This item was brought to us by the Lebanon Council as they had voted to do it, but wanted to know if we would like to join them in funding it as Conway is a part of our council. I have let their GK Steve Norris know that we can do $200 of the initial cost. We have been invited to attend the delivery of the shoes and to present our check to Shoes from the Heart. This Tuesday December 9th at 11:15 at Ezard Elementary in Conway. If you can join, please do so, this is a great way for us to support part of our community. I will be unable to attend but Howard will be there to present the check. It would be nice if we could get a few of our Conway Knights to attend.

Our monthly meeting will be that night as well. Come at 5pm for Adoration and Confession, with us being in advent we should all go to Reconciliation as we prepare for the coming of our Lord. Mass will be at 6pm with our meeting to follow at 7pm. Hope to see you all there.

Matt Wingo will be collecting dues this month as well.

If you attend Saturday Mass or the Conway Mass that morning and can help prep and cook before Mass gets out in Marshfield that would be appreciated.

Subject: Robin Adams Surgery

Brothers, Chuck messaged today to let us know how Robin's surgery went today. She had the surgery today to remove her breast cancer. Both surgeons were pleased with how everything went. Please continue to pray for Robin as she heals and has follow up appointments. Pray for both her and Chuck as they navigate this horrible disease. May the Lord help strengthen and heal Robin and may the Lord give graces to Chuck as he helps her.

Below is what Chuck posted on Facebook.

Robin is home resting and recovering after a long 14 hour day with 8 hours of that being in surgery.  Thank you all for all the love and support.   Both surgeons talked with me and family and friends and they were so pleased with how great it went.   We have a couple follow ups in the next week or 2 and will find out more then.   Thank you everyone for all the prayers and warm and kind messages.  Your support was such a blessing to the both of us.

FBN October 27th

Brothers, tomorrow night at 7pm in the Holy Trinity Parish Hall we will be having dinner and watching this event. Please make sure to attend and if you cannot be there register and watch it where ever you are. Mike will have pulled pork, slaw, and green beans for every one. There is unsweetened tea, lemonade, and other cold beverages in the refrigerator. Come have fellowship with your brothers and learn some information about our great benefits. Make sure to register individually, log onto it tomorrow night and answer the questions at the end. I am sure Mike will be there before 7pm to get the food ready so feel free to come earlier. Thank you brothers, I know this has been a very busy weekend.

To help fulfill Star Council requirements, encourage your members to attend the upcoming Fraternal Benefit

Event which will take place live on Monday, October 27th at 8pm ET.

This virtual event will allow members to learn more about the living benefits of life insurance and see if they are missing out on often-overlooked financial features to help shield their family.

Prayer Request

Brothers, as some of you know Robin was diagnosed with breast cancer a short time ago. They had planned on doing surgery to remove the cancer but found another spot on her chest wall so they postponed the surgery.  The doctors have order a MRI for next Friday. Robin and Chuck are now waiting on the results after the biopsy. Please pray for strength, healing, peace, and comfort for Robin. Pray for Chuck as well, for she will needed him greatly during this battle.

Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with heavy hearts, praying for your healing touch upon our beloved Robin Adams. As they face the challenges of cancer, grant them strength, courage, and hope.

Fill them with your peace and comfort, and let them know that you are always with them. Guide their doctors and caregivers, and bless their treatments with success. May they experience minimal pain and side effects, and may their bodies be restored to health.

We pray for their family and friends, who are also struggling with this difficult time. Give them the strength to support Robin and the wisdom to know what to do. Surround them with your love and grace.

Lord, we trust in your healing power. We believe that you can work miracles. Please, intercede for Robin and grant them a full recovery.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.

Weekly Events 10/24/25

Friday 10/24/25 - We have our final fish fry of the Fall season. Please come out and help, if you want to invite your wife, teen, or a prospective Knight to come help, please do so. We will need to provide desserts as well.

Saturday 10/25/25 - We will be praying a Rosary on the square here in Marshfield. Rosary will be starting at 10:30AM, we will need a few Knights to help lead this. During our monthly meeting, Matt Wingo, Dave Lewis, and Howard Mohn said they could help lead. Mark Burchfield also said he could, but he has since found out he cannot. John Tieskotter is going to bring the mic, amp, and podium. There is a chance of rain that day, we have the gazebo on the square which we can get under and if nothing else we can always go to the church and pray there. I see no reason that we should not be able to come together and pray.

Saturday and Sunday 25th and 26th - We will be doing a membership / church drive at Holy Trinity. Roger Fleeman is heading this up. He is planning to give the talk at both Mass times this weekend, he has also written a nice speech. It would be great if we all wore our Knights shirts this weekend to the Masses. He may want a couple of guys to help at the doors with information and cards.

Sunday - After Mass there is going to a first class relic of St. Charbel Makhlouf at Holy Trinity. Make sure to stay for that, it sounds very interesting.

Monday 10/27/2025 - 7PM at the Hall behind Holy Trinity we will be holding a Fraternal Benefit Night. Mike Weigand is going to lead this as well as bring some delicious chili i believe for those who can make it. I will make sure there is drinks. This FBN can be attended by parish members who are not Knights, if your wives would like to come they are welcome.  If you can please let me know if you plan to attend.

Tuesday 10/28/2025 - Council 10844 will be receiving and an award from the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce during the Chambers year end awards. Duane Lavery, Mike Wiegand, and myself along with our wonderful wives will be there to represent the council. I will send more info on this in a separate email.

November 1 is our Coats for Kids Distribution date, from 2pm-4pm. Please come help this is an amazing event.

Brother Knights thank you for all that you do for our Faith, our Parishes, our Council, our Communities, and EACH OTHER. We are a family and as such we need to take the time to check on each other and pray for one another.

FBN and Fish Fry

Brothers, this is the link and info for the Fraternal Benefit Night event. Like I said before Mike will have some delicious food made up for this event in the Hall. I hope several of you will attend, I think this will be a really good FBN with alot of info that many of us may not know. If for some reason you cannot make it to the Hall on Monday you can still watch it on your own. Make sure if you watch it that you answer the questions at the end and let me know that you completed it. Thank you, brothers.

Monday October 27th there is an FBN it starts at 7pm. During the monthly meeting I said I thought it began at 8pm but that is eastern time so 7pm our time. I have talked with SK Mike Weigand about some chili and he has agreed to supply some good food. Let's knock out this Fraternal Benifit Night and get our 10 people. October Meeting

Fellow Knights, this Tuesday at 7pm is our monthly meeting. There is no Adoration, Confessions, or Mass this week due to the Clergy Institute that Father Jobi and both Deacons will be attending. I look forward to seeing you there.

There will also be a chance to win 75 dollars in the attendance prize. Those of you that don't know each meeting we each put one dollar into the attendance drawing, we then draw one name off of our roster. If the member is there they walk away with half the money. Right now there is $135 the box, if 15 people show up to the meeting the total will be at $150. If the person whose name is called is not at the meeting then no one gets it and we do it again at the next meeting.
