Adoration @ Holy Trinity

Good evening brothers,

Brother Arehart brought to my attention  and would like for me to mention that Adoration begins Tuesday, November 29.  (Below you will find the schedule I copied from the church bulletin)
This is Holy Trinity's Schedule.  As soon as I receive Sacred Heart's, I will send a follow up email.
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m.--6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m.--9:00 a.m. except for First Friday Adoration.  It will continue to follow the 9:00 a.m. mass with Benediction at 12:30 p.m.
There is a sign up sheet that can be found at the back of the church next to the baptismal font.

On the first Sunday of each month, beginning on December 4th, Holy Trinity will have the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 a.m.--10:00 a.m.

Also, Tuesday, November 29th at 7:00 p.m. is our Fraternal Benefit Night.  Here is the address to register:   www.TinyURL.com/HegnaFBN           (Thank you to Carol Coleman for placing the announcement in the bulletin.)

Last, I would like for you to say a prayer of healing for my cousin who was breast cancer free for 22 years.  At Sheila's last checkup, it was discovered that the cancer had returned.  Thank you and as I have previously mentioned in my emails, I will pray for you, family and/or friends as I pray the Holy Rosary to work.

Have a blessed week as well as a blessed Advent season,

YBIC,

Gary

Coatrs for Kids Success

Dear Brothers,

Coats for Kids was a huge success!  Our Deputy Grand Knight, Mike Weigand, reported that we gave 154  kid coats and 75 used coats.  I tried to capture the moment, but photos did not do justice to the smiles of the children. Thank you Knights for your time, ethusiasm, and willingness to go the extra mile on a Saturday.  Once again you have proved our theme of charity, fraternity, and unity.  I proud to be your Grand Knight.  Enjoy the rest of your week and may God bless and protect you.

YBiC,

Gary

Giving Tuesday

_________________________________

Winter is right around the corner bringing with it blustery cold days. If weather predictions come to fruition, it could be a record cold year for multiple regions across North America.
If you’re fortunate to have a warm winter coat, count your blessings. But many children right in our own backyards don’t have this basic necessity, especially with the rising costs of food, gas, and heating.
As families struggle to pay for these basic expenses, others ask: “How can I help?”
Knights of Columbus invites you to join us on November 29th when we once again participate in Giving Tuesday – an international day of giving – to support our Coats for Kids campaign.
GivingTuesday is less than a month away. Plan now to help as we begin building momentum! Please mark your calendar for GivingTuesday, November 29th and consider setting a fundraising goal for yourself or your council at our secure website.
DONATE NOW

Sincerely,

Patrick Diener
Director, Knights of Columbus Charities

P.S. If you are not able to give this year, you can still help . . .  simply share this message with your local community and support us through raising awareness!

November Council events

Good evening brothers,

I hope you have had a chance to relax and enjoy this beautiful weather with family and friends.  You will find a tentative schedule of events that are coming up.  If you know of an event that I did not mention, please let me know.

First, THANK YOU to those who helped with...
     October coffee and donuts
Dan Poirier for his presentation at the 4th degree social
      5th Sunday
K of C Fish Fry (Oct 14) and the TLC fish fry (Oct 28)

November Events:
11/2  Memorial mass for Knights and auxiliary members.  If you know of a Knight that is deceased and would like to be remembered at this mass, please email me their name and council number.  The mass will be at Saint Joseph church in Springfield on Wednesday, November 3 at 6:30.

11/5  Peggy Carnahan needs the Knights to help to move furniture, because the contractors start work on Monday, Nov. 7. She will make a sizable donation to the Knights for our help, so her husband Bob doesn't have to do any heavy lifting.
Basically, heavy furniture and boxes need to be moved from one end of their house to the other. We will need several dollys to roll the boxes and furniture. I have a small one and the church has two we can borrow.
I think six or so guys would be enough to get the job done. I suggest we meet at her place at 9am on Saturday. Their address is 442 Hickory Hill Dr, Marshfield, MO, which is about 7.2 miles south of Marshfield on Highway A, or 0.3 miles south of the James River bridge to their ½ mile long driveway on the west side of the road.   Please email me if you are available to assist in this event.

11/6  Membership drive.  (John Tieskotter made a nice presentation at Saturday's mass about becoming a member.)

11/8  Mass at 6:00 and our meeting will be in the BASEMENT due to voting at the parish hall.  Our meeting will begin at 7:00

11/11  Thank a veteran, it's Veterans Day.

11/12  Coats 4 Kids.  Distribution will be 2-4.  Setup for the event will begin 12:30

11/29  Fraternal Benefit Night  November 29, 2022 7:00 p.m.  I will have more information in the upcoming weeks.

I can not express how much I appreciate all that you do as a council, as individuals and all the untold/unsaid deeds you do, thank you!

Remember, if you would like for me to add a name to my rosary prayer list, please email me.  Take care and have a great week!

YBiC,

Gary
